This exhibition is a celebration of all the impact these links have made, and I am so happy to hear people get to tell their own story. As a gaelic speaker who watched the culture and language be systematically erased, I want to use and celebrate the music, culture, language and knowledge we still have.

I am a creative, curious, caring being. I have had to push against the boundaries society has placed around me to find space and my place. A daughter of Jamaican immigrants, who fought to belong in a country that invited them but then denied them a rightful place in its society. I long for equality and peace in this world.
